What is Birks Business™?

Birks Business™ is the result of a strategic alliance between Rideau Recognition Solutions and Birks Group Inc. Birks Business™ is operated by Rideau and serves the employee recognition and customer loyalty programs of Rideau’s corporate clients. Birks Business™ is not affiliated with the Birks retail operations. All returns, exchanges and customer service inquiries regarding Birks Business™ and/or Birks Business™ products and services should be directed to Rideau Recognition Solutions Inc.

How do I place an order on Birks Business™?

Ordering on Birks Business™ is safe and simple. After deciding which item(s) you would like to purchase, click on the "ADD TO CART" button to place the item in your Shopping Cart. To complete your order, follow the checkout process steps.


Your credit card information will be requested at the end of the checkout process, and this is when your order will be placed. Your card will only be charged once your order has shipped.

Yes, it is safe to order on Birks Business™. All user data is encrypted to ensure that data remains protected and secure during the transfer of customer data between Birks Business™ and our site server.

Currently Birks Business™ is only accepting online order shipping to addresses within Canada. For information about shipping to addresses outside of Canada, please contact a Customer Service Representative at 1-800-565-GIFT.

When shipping to Ontario - 13% HST (Harmonized Sales Tax) will be applied.

When shipping to British Columbia - 12% HST (Harmonized Sales Tax) will be applied.

When shipping to Saskatchewan - 5% GST (Goods and Services Tax) and 5% PST (Provincial Sales Tax) will be applied.

When shipping to Manitoba - 5% GST and 8% PST will be applied.

When shipping to Quebec - 14.975% QST (Quebec Sales Tax) will be applied.

When shipping to Prince Edward Island - 5% GST and 10% PST (applied to the sale and GST combined) will be applied.

When shipping to Alberta, Northwest Territories, Yukon Territories and Nunavut - 5% GST will be applied. There is no PST.

When shipping to New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador - 13% HST (Harmonized Sales Tax) will be applied.

When shipping to Nova Scotia - 15% HST (Harmonized Sales Tax) will be applied.

Yes, your Birks Business™ purchase will arrive gift-wrapped.
Items from the Birks® Collections will be presented in the Birks Blue Box.
All other products will be presented in a Birks Business™ bag.

Yes, to check on the status of your order, please contact us at 1-800-565-GIFT or email info@birksbusiness.com. A Customer Service Representative will be available to assist you Monday through Friday from 6:00AM-12:00AM EST, and Saturday from 8:00AM-5:00PM EST.

If you are not totally happy with the item(s) you have selected, Birks Business™ accepts returns within 30 days of receipt, provided that the item is returned unused in the original packaging with all original documentation. Items that have been engraved cannot be returned unless the product is defective.

To make a return or exchange, contact a Customer Service Representative via email at info@birksbusiness.com or by phone at 1-800-565-GIFT Monday through Friday from 6:00AM-12:00AM EST, and Saturday from 8:00AM-5:00PM EST. The Customer Service Representative will assign a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and send a return merchandise package. The package includes detailed instructions with return labels, courier waybill and courier contact phone number.

Yes, Birks Business™ prices are subject to change. You will be charged the prices listed on the Birks Business™ site on the day that you submit your order

Shipping Times & Rates

Birks Business™ orders will be processed within 7 to 10 days for in-stock items, with all orders shipping via Canada Post. The cost of shipping will be based on the packaged weight of the shipment and the delivery destination. Shipping charges will not be applied to orders shipping to one address, with a value over CDN$500.00. Your order will ship when complete. Items on special order may take longer. To verify the status of your order and shipment, contact a Customer Service Representative at 1-800-565-GIFT or by email at info@birksbusiness.com.


For machine-engraved items, please allow an additional 3-5 business days for delivery.

Currently we are only able to accept online orders to shipping addresses within Canada. To inquire about shipments to addresses outside of Canada, please contact Customer Service at 1-800-565-GIFT.



Return Policy

ENGRAVING

Birks Business™ is pleased to offer engraving options for an additional $15.00 charge, which can be applied to the following products:


  1. Watches: 2 lines engraved, 10 characters per line
  2. Engraving Plates: 3 lines engraved, 25 characters per line
  3. Luggage Tags : 3 lines engraved, 25 characters per line
  4. Pens: 1 line engraved, 12 characters

Birks Business™ is pleased to offer the opportunity to further customize the gift by adding your corporate logo. Should you choose this option a Birks Business™ customer service representative will contact you to finalize the logo placement details.

CARE FAQ’S

Gold or sterling silver items may tarnish or become dull with time. Occasional hand buffing with a gold or silver polishing product may be required. It is recommended that you remove jewellery before doing any task that involves any strong chemicals such as chlorine.

You need to create a Birks Business™ account to be able to make a transaction. Business account holders enjoy benefits such as discounts, access to our extensive selection of business gifts, and access to our Last Minute section of gifts!

Birks Business™ offers one business account option: Credit Card Only.

To open a Credit Card Only account you must be registered to do business in your province and have a satisfactory business credit rating.

What kinds of business gifts and awards are available to Birks Business™ account holders™?

Our collection includes an extensive offering of distinctive business gifts, which can be customized with engravings. Many of these gifts are offered at prices that correspond to company budgets, and are exclusive to our Birks Business™ account holders.

Birks Business™ offers trophies and awards for any presentation needs! Trophies and awards are offered based on a variety of budgets, and can be customized with engravings. Custom designs are also available by special order for Birks Business™ clients!
